The Norwood Christmas Pageant was held on Saturday, 26th November, when the Rotary Club of Norwood participated as both volunteers for marshalling, and in the parade
Around 40-50 local groups, including symphony bands, primary schools, volunteers, firefighters, immigrant communities, and other different organizations, presented themselves with happiness and spirit in the event, with a lot of families lining the route.
The Rotary Club of Norwood was No.31 group in the Pageant parade and presented two cars with Rotary slogans and posters to promote what we have done and what we are doing as People of Action for Rotary. We also had the opportunity to wear our new Club T-shirts.
It was great pleasure to have the Live Christmas Pageant back as the 2020 and 2021 events were both cancelled due to the COVID-19 impact, and we are proud to join this great celebration as both volunteers and in the parade group. Sincere thanks to all the members, partners and friends who attended on 26th November! We are grateful to Bob Brigden, who organized and supervised our Club’s involvement and to support by the Rotary Club of Onkaparinga, who provided a car and driver for us in the parade.
