Norwood Rotary members provided great service in 2023 Rotary District 9510 Assembly.
On Sunday 2nd April, the Norwood Rotary Club members were honoured to be asked to cater for the Rotary District 9510’s District Assembly 2023 at St Michael's College, organised and run by our member Di Clements, District 9510 Learning and Development Chair.
District Assembly 2023 saw over 180 Rotarians attend to learn and grow in our knowledge about Rotary and District 9510 for the year ahead. The event was opened by DG Paul Thomas handing over to DGE Craig Dowling - inspired presentations from Andrew Best and on Membership from Barb Mifsud (Zoom) from Rotary Oceania, followed by various workshop sessions in different streams and sessions.
Norwood Rotary Club members served in the event by setting up the venue for catering , preparing morning tea and lunch, arranging the layouts and so on. Catering for 180 people was no mean feat, and we are proud of our achievement and support of our great District. The Club wishes to thank all who helped on the day, including the wives of DG Paul, DGE Craig, the Rotary Club of Loxton and District Assembly committee member Helen Charles.
