Our 3rd movie night was completed in great success. Through presenting Mrs Harris Goes to Paris in front of an audience of over100 people at The Regal on 27th October together with snacks and drinks, the event achieved a profit around $3,500, including a spectacular sale of raffle tickets and a very large range of prizes.
The funds raised in this event will contribute to  the Zimbabwe schools water and sanitation project at Muzarabani High School and Hwata Secondary School.

Moreover, our combined effort not only produced a respectable, financial result, but also a local community event enjoyed by all who attended.

Sincere thanks to all those who volunteered for this event: Thanks also to two non-member volunteers, Jill and Margriet,  Their help including selling raffle tickets and distributing the snacks, was very much appreciated; Thanks to Sigrid, Di and Noelene who spent much time and effort in preparing all the prizes; In addition, thanks to all the members who volunteered at that night guaranteeing that all guests got in quickly and smoothly, received their snack parcels and drinks, and had EFTPOS and cash facilities available at ticket check-in and bar with soft drinks, beer and wine.
