During the meeting, President Rob displayed many photos he took on his adventures around the world, including Canada, Japan, Peru, Chile Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia, Namibia,
Greenland/Iceland, Antarctica, India and Bhutan and other amazing lands over all 7 continents. Though not all of us may have visited so many countries, enjoying all the slides and stories presented by Rob was of great joy and happiness.
After Rob’s adventure story, we had the pleasant quiz in world geography and culture, with many interesting questions, such as the only country in which rectangular watermelon is available for selling (Japan), the driest continent (Australia) and the capital city formed by 14 islands (Stockholm). The prizes for the winners have been distributed after the meeting.
We also had a birthday cake to celebrate this special day of our Club.
